As well as providing fully-functional Calendar and Diary facilities, the Cumbria E-Calendar/Diary 2005 brightens the computer workspace with a set of full-colour pictures of the Cumbrian countryside and buildings. These are changed on a weekly basis, but all fifty-three photographs can be browsed through, just as with a printed calendar. A short description of each featured location is provided.
Here we can see the Calendar view, with the picture for the week of 1st March 2005, showing Wastwater, with Great Gable at its head. The other three tabs contain the Diary Entry for the selected day, a summary of holiday and other notable dates, and a description of the scene in the picture. The Calendar is shown at the actual size it appears on your screen. (At 600 x 800 screen setting). The Colour Scheme and appearance of the Calendar can be extensively modified using the Settings Form, whilst the Diary Form allows week at a time viewing and editing. There will be two ways for you to get a copy of the Cumbria E-Calendar. You will be able to get a Sponsored Copy for free - this will give details of a sponsoring business, and a link to their website. Alternatively, you can purchase a nicely packaged CD with a copy of the E-Calendar program. (No sponsor messages included). Details of Sponsors will be annouced here in due course. If you would like to purchase a copy of the E-Calendar, click here. If you would like to make the Cumbria E-Calendar available for download from your website, click here for more details. To download a demonstration version of the E-Calendar, click here. (The demo shows a message on the picture after a ten second delay, but is otherwise fully functional.)
